Born in France of musician parents, Yanic began the drums at the age of 3 . And from then on, he will cherish his chopsticks and will spend his days banging on whatever appeals to him.
He then spent years studying the game of drummers who influence him, John Bonham (Led Zeppelin), Roger Taylor (Queen), Phil Rud (AC/DC), Nicko McBrain (Iron Maiden)...
He made his first steps on stage at the age of 13 in local groups. During this time he also studied bass, allowing him to play as bassist for many groups. He turned professional at age 17 and for more than 15 years, he will tour and record with many artists throughout Europe. During this period, he recorded more than 20 albums (rock, metal, blues, punk, reggae and even punk...) In 2008, he decided to try his luck in Los Angeles. Only a few months upon his arrival he became drummer for Otto's Daughter, known in the circuit of the clubs in the city. Quickly he began to play in all the legendary clubs of Hollywood (Whisky a Gogo, House of Blues, Roxy, Troubadour, or even Key Club.
In 2010, he tours 3 months throughout the United States, which will allow him to become known in cities such as Memphis, Nashville, Detroit, Chicago... and many others.
His style based on the groove and power, as well as his absolute mastery of the tempo has allowed him to succeed all the auditions he went to in his career, and also be comfortable as much on stage than in a recording studio as well.
